India at commonwealth Games 2018

The 2018 Commonwealth Games which is officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games were held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia between 4 to 15 April 2018. India competed in this event which is her 18th appearance at the Commonwealth Game. In this post, we will talk about the performance of India at Commonwealth Games 2018.

The 2018 CWG has become India’s third most successful Commonwealth Game after 2002 and 2010. India finished the 2018 CWG with 26 Gold, 20 Silver, and 20 Bronze medals. In the final medal chart table, India is behind Australia (198 medals) and England (166 medals).

In 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England, India won 69 medals including 30 Gold, 22 Silver, and 17 Bronze medals.

In 2010 CWG in Delhi, India got 101 medals including 38 Gold, 27 Silver, and 36 Bronze medals.
